Thank God!
Many people thank God for something good happening. I saw someone on Twitter thank God for vaporisers. It made me wonder…
What about the MAN (or woman) that invented the vaporiser? Shouldn’t we thank them?
If they were inspired by God to make a life-saving device, then sure, we can thank God.
But what about the inspiration behind the invention of weapons of war? A device that kills people? Should we thank God for that?
Or do we BLAME the Devil instead, for inspiring the creation of weapons that kill people?
What if it wasn’t God or the Devil at all, but just the creativity of man?
At the end of the day, it’s us who make choices from what inspires us. It’s us who has control over what we do.
Maybe we should thank people for the choices they make that brings us something wonderful, and encourage people who choose badly to make better choices.
